About the blog
The blog name a cute toaster is from an inside joke that Paul and I started when we first started dating. I needed a title for my first blog (that I started just when we met each other), and it stuck. It evolved into a new nickname, toaster or toast.
The blog URL babyblade is the name of a Honda motorcycle (CBR400RR), the “little brother” to the FireBlade (CBR900RR). I picked this name for myself when I first joined the internet (I had to fill in a nickname on the form to get the 3 floppy disks to install the whole internet on my computer*). Actually, the first place I ever went on the ‘net was a motorcycle sportbike forum, and the name fit and stuck.
